Our Team

Ms. Sarah, Owner/Director

Ms. Sarah has a bachelor's degree in Child Study and has worked in Montessori schools, family resource centers, and play-based preschools. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of a nationally accredited, nonprofit preschool program. Ms. Sarah is especially interested in early literacy and process-centered art. She is a local mom and enjoys attending library programs with her young daughter. Ms. Sarah's favorite children's books include Jamberry by Bruce Degen and anything by Leo Lionni and Mem Fox.

Ms. Kathy

Ms. Kathy has a master’s degree in Elementary Education. She has decades of experience in the early childhood field. She has worked in some of CT's most respected preschool programs as a Head Teacher and Executive Director. Ms. Kathy is passionate about play-based learning and has attended early childhood conferences around the world. She loves to spend time outdoors with her preschoolers. Her favorite children's books include The Busy Little Squirrel by Nancy Tafuri, Mama Cat Has Three Kittens by Denise Fleming, and Sadie and the Snowman by Allen Morgan.

Ms. Katie

Ms. Katie has a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Elementary Education from Strathclyde University in Scotland, UK. She also has Teacher Leadership, Nurture, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy qualifications, which focus on children's emotional, social, and mental wellbeing. Ms. Katie joins us with extensive experience in teaching general education, special education needs, and most recently served as a Nurture Teacher, where she developed curriculum and supported both children and educators. Ms. Katie's approach is child-led, developmentally appropriate, and play-based. Her favorite children's books include, Shhh! by Sally Grindley, The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judtih Kerr, Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney, and all Julia Donaldson books.
