Programs
Toddler Program
Our Toddler Program serves children who are between 2 and 3 years old. The focus of this program is establishing a warm and inviting classroom community with predictable rhythms and routines. Children are provided with opportunities for sensorial learning, outdoor play, music, and receive lots of 1:1 time with their teacher. You will often find our staff sitting in our book nook reading to our toddlers, just as you would find a caregiver reading to their child in the home setting.
Preschool Program
Our Preschool Program is for children ages 3-5. As a mixed-age classroom, our younger students receive the notable benefits of learning from their older peers while our eldest students take pride in their leadership role within the classroom. The mixed-age approach is representative of the outside world and allows for a closer bond to form with peers and teachers. Our preschoolers spend their days engaged in meaningful play, begin to learn to read and write, and spend hours outside each day.
Summer Program
Our 9-week summer program is nature-based, with increased time spent outdoors. Children spend their summers enjoying sand and water play, summer-inspired cooking class, naptime “campouts,” and learning about wildlife of the Long Island Sound.
